What Our Process Is

    One document, sent by email, naming what goes on the slab and in what order. Anything conditional on what the grinder finds is flagged as such, with the range it could move within.

  4. Install and handover

    The build goes down in one uninterrupted sequence. At the end we walk the floor together, and you keep a single sheet covering when to use it again and how to look after it.

A 1978 garage off Market Lane and a 2016 infill build on Pine Valley need different preparation. The four stages stay the same either way; what changes is how long stage two takes and what it turns up.

My garage is from the seventies. Is the slab too far gone to coat?
Almost never. Pitting, spalling and a chalky surface are preparation problems, not disqualifiers: grinding takes the tired paste off and repair material fills what is left, then gets ground flush. What does disqualify a slab is structural movement or water passing up through it, and both of those get identified before a number is quoted rather than after.
There is an old coating on my floor that is peeling. Can you go over it?
No, and this is the single most common situation in Woodbridge. Coating over a failed layer transfers the old bond failure straight into the new floor. The existing material comes off completely by grinding, which is quoted separately once we see how much there is and how well it is stuck.
Do you quote single-car garages, or is there a minimum?
Single-car garages are quoted the same way as any other floor. Yes, more often than people assume, but it is a decision made with a thermometer rather than a calendar. Two numbers have to hold: the concrete itself needs to be warm enough for the material to cure properly, and it has to stay clear of the point where condensation forms on its surface.
