Privacy notice
Short version: this site has no analytics, no advertising trackers and sets no cookies of its own. The only personal information involved is what you type into the quote form, and the only third party involved is a Google Maps frame at the bottom of the home page.

What is collected
Only what you enter into the quote request form on this website:
- Your name and email address (both required in order to reply)
- Your phone number, community and approximate project size (all optional)
- The service you selected and the details you wrote about your floor
No account is created, no profile is built, and nothing is collected in the background as you browse.
What is not collected
- No cookies. This website sets none, for any purpose.
- No analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no pixel, no heatmap or session recording tool.
- No advertising or remarketing tags. Your visit is not used to target you elsewhere.
- No hosted fonts and no social widgets. Type is set in fonts already on your device, and there are no share buttons, comment systems or embedded feeds.
The one embed on this site
The home page ends with a Google Maps frame showing Vaughan. When that frame loads, your browser contacts Google directly and Google receives your IP address, your browser details and the fact that you looked at this page. Google may also set its own cookies inside that frame. All of that happens under Google's privacy policy rather than this one, and it is outside our control.
Two things limit it. The frame is set to load lazily, so it is only requested if you scroll far enough down the home page to reach it, and it appears on the home page only. No other page on this site loads anything from a third party.
If you would rather not load it at all, blocking third-party frames in your browser or an extension will stop it, and the rest of the site works normally without it.
The remaining exception is ordinary server logging: whoever hosts this website records standard request data such as IP address, timestamp and browser type, as essentially every web server does. That is used for security and troubleshooting only.
Why it is collected and what it is used for
To read your request, ask any follow-up questions, prepare a quote and arrange the work if you go ahead. That is the entire purpose.
Your details are never sold, rented, traded or shared with a marketing list. You will not be added to a newsletter for sending a quote request.
Who else sees it
Three service providers are involved:
- The web host that serves these pages and keeps the server logs described above.
- The form provider that carries your submitted message from this website to the inbox that answers it.
- Google, but only if you scroll to the map at the bottom of the home page. Google never receives anything you type into the quote form.
Both handle the data only in order to deliver their service. If you want the specific providers named before you submit anything, ask and you will be told.
How long it is kept
Quote requests that do not turn into work are kept while they may still be relevant and are then deleted. Records relating to work actually carried out are kept as long as normal business and tax obligations require.
Your rights
Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) you may ask what personal information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, and withdraw consent to its use. Requests are answered within a reasonable period.
To exercise any of these, or to have your quote request deleted, reply to the email thread your request created, or send a new request through the form stating what you want removed.
Security
This website should be served over HTTPS, so what you type into the form is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, and this is a quote form rather than a payment system. Please do not send financial details, identification numbers or anything else sensitive through it.
Children
This website is aimed at property owners and businesses. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this notice
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes to how information is handled will be described here rather than made quietly.
